The "Camera Acting" Course:
This is an intensive course specially designed, for people who are going to film and modeling-auditions, are serious about their acting and/of modeling careers.
At auditions you never get to see the acting you have done, you just hope for the best to get a call back, even when you are casted it takes to see and understand your acting skills, and sometimes you never get to see it at all.
This unique workshop offers the opportunity of working with the camera and learning the techniques of : "The Method" based on the teachings of C. Stanislavski.
Working with the camera gives you the opportunity to have a close look at what your personal qualities, strengths and possibilities are. In a relaxed atmosphere you experience and expand your talents. You get time to play and experiment with your character('s) in front of the camera and the opportunity of looking back with a critical eye on what you have created and presented that will help you understand what the camera records.
This course gives you the opportunity to learn the skills of "Method Acting", play freely, you're able to see yourself and improve your creativity in acting with the camera. It includes :
Close up exercises with different emotions,
where you will learn to control your thoughts .
Working on,
over and under acting, building character,
step-by-step thoughts, sub thoughts,
building in secrets,
body feeling etc.
Body exercises
and techniques to get to the "Zero Point", from whence you can build any emotion and character.
Short dialogues
used without a story.
The participants
will get creative
around the text
to make up a story
and context.
Creating and
building a character.
Concentration exercises
in order to hold
emotions for longer
and control them
so you can easily switch from one emotion
to another.
Inter-dimensional path-work.
Each student gets a course handbook containing the techniques used during the courses, all recordings are digital and each participant will get her/his personal recording.
